Properly aligned wheels provide improved safety, better steering control, increased fuel economy and longer tire life, so cruise on into Best Tire Center and have your vehicle’s alignment checked for FREE! No appointment is necessary. Wondering if you need a wheel alignment? Here are 4 common signs:
Rough roads can be your wheels’ worst enemy. If you drive on poorly maintained roads, hit a pothole or curb, your wheel alignment can be greatly affected. Misalignment can shorten a tire’s life by thousands of miles and affect your vehicle’s steering and suspension parts. Think about the money wasted! If you want to get the most miles out of your tires and enjoy the benefits of better gas mileage, have your alignment checked every 6,000 miles or so. Your tires and your wallet will thank you later!
All of our locations proudly feature Hunter’s Quick Check™, a convenient and easy way to measure your tires’ alignment angles. The test takes less than two minutes to produce total toe and camber measurements for both axles. Results are displayed in an easy-to-understand color-coded printout like the ones below.
How do I know if I need front-end alignment or four-wheel alignment?
A front-end alignment is performed on vehicles with a solid rear axle. This type of axle doesn’t need adjustment. A front-end alignment can include toe adjustment, caster adjustment, and a camber adjustment.
A four-wheel alignment includes front, caster adjustment, front toe adjustment, rear toe adjustment, and rear camber adjustment.
The specification is built in from the car manufacturer and Best Tire Center will service your vehicle accordingly.
